Financial Policy

Medicine and dentistry are being affected by changes within the insurance industry. We believe a two tiered system of care is developing in dentistry. On the one hand, there will be managed care or some type of insurance-driven system, where a third party will be involved in the decisions on what care is rendered as well as what payment is made for that care. The other tier commonly referred to as private care, allows the dentist to recommend and the patients to choose services that are beneficial to them, even though their insurance carrier may not fully cover those costs. Since we can recommend and deliver optimal care within the private care system without insurance company restrictions, you can reach a higher level of dental health.

Below is a summary of the different ways you may take care of your financial responsibilities in our office. You are responsible for all charges incurred, regardless of what your insurance company or other third party agrees to pay.

  1. Payment is due at the time of service for all dental visits unless a prior financial agreement has been made. We accept cash, check, and credit cards. (MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express)
  2. For fees in excess of $500, payment arrangements must be made with our office.
  3. As a small business, we are not in the position to make long-term loans. If you would like your payments to extend past 90 days, Dental Fee Plan offers a low-interest loan for which you may take up to sixty months to repay. They also offer interest-free options. Our office will be happy to provide you with the proper forms and assist you in filling them out. Please ask for additional details.
